    Pros

Good training on how 401k accounts work, good people, chance to work at home sometimes

    Cons

No communication, position changed drastically in less than a year from what I was told it would be, more work and less people and no change in pay, new manager and too many changes all at once, some of them make no sense. Outsource customer service to another country which causes a lot of cranky calls to the US call centers and many of our overseas colleagues don't understand the basics of retirement accounts and the US economy/tax system. They are great people, though.

    Advice to Management

Use your resources, that is, the professionals that came to your company from your competitors. Be realistic about what your departments can do, and treat employees like valued resources, not expendable pawns. I came to work for ADP after interviewing with a few companies. At the time I understood that there was a lot of room for advancement, that a person with my skills would have a lot of opportunities. I watched most of those evaporate in the last few months. It feels like the company cares way more about the immediate bottom line than the long-term bottom line. It's too bad, ADP over all is a good company, but retirement services is just not something they know much about.

    Pros

Training and benefits (certifications paid for, tuition reimbursement)

    Cons

Toxic work environment, unethical sales people, lack of career opportunities if you don't work in one of the larger branches.

    Advice to Management

Have managers who know the jobs they are managing
