I worked at ADP full-time

Pros

Great people, good benefits, flexibility in hours and I was promoted 3 times during my employment at ADP.

Cons

Expectations are high, if you are not a self motivated individual you will be left behind. ADP is a huge company and everyone can not be recognized as often as they should.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Recognize your people who go above and beyond and reward them.

    Pros

Does a lot for the community.

    Cons

Upper management does not practice what they preach when it comes to Mission, Vision, and Values

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat people fairly and equally. Listen and take action. Provide consistent feedback, before disciplinary action comes out of the blue. Once again, practice the model you try to portray.

I have been working at ADP full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

ADP has flexible schedules for some positions, which enhances work/life balances. The company offers a lot of opportunity for volunteering and charity work.

    Cons

Large workload and long hours. Management has problems balancing workload, so employees expected to pick up the slack. The company is slow to respond to feedback and the bottom line is more important than employee satisfaction. Certain business groups have low morale and distrust with senior management.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

ADP needs to be more selective of management leaders and needs to support employees in a way that will build trust and satisfaction.
