I worked at ADP full-time (more than an year)

Pros

Partying, trips, coworkers (at peer level). When times are good ADP parties HARD!

Cons

High pressure, high turnover, and high school enviroment

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Do not micromanage. And be fair. If you are in the in crowd you will get a good territory and it will rain money from the sky. If you are in a bad territory life will suck and you will quit.

I have been working at ADP full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Great sales experience, you learn to be aggressive and disciplined, benefits are great. The atmosphere is fun. Outside sales so employees are out in the field 90% of the time.

    Cons

Referral opportunities usually reserved to tenured reps. Sales are very seasonal unless you have solid referring channels. Having to constantly protect your leads because of overlap with other reps.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be as supportive when quotas aren't met as when sales are rolling in.

I worked at ADP full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Good benefits package, competitive time off.

    Cons

Low pay, little room for advancement regardless of achievement or skill. Acquisition transition and cultural merger completely mishandled, alienating long time employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You are too focused on metrics, pay attention to what your people are saying.
