Pros

Excellent sales training, benefits and compensation package. Rewards program was top notch.

Cons

Very high turnover, many managers were micro managers. Nature of the sales relationship was "turn and burn". Difficult to build long lasting relationships with customers.

Advice to Management

Find better hiring managers, spend more time supporting and nurturing employees vs. breaking them down. Focus was to often on the negative vs. the positive.

    Pros

Great Training. Looks great on your resume. Great Incentives. Awesome people to work with.

    Cons

Deal with other reps trying to steal deals. Starting salary is low. Room for advancement is not as good as they make it out to be.

    Advice to Management

Do not promote based on numbers solely. Product knowledge and people skills are also something to consider. I see many manager who should not be managing, but were in the right place at the right time.

    Pros

Great coworkers and incentives. If you are a unethical and sleezy sales professional ADP is the place for you!

    Cons

HR is there to protect interest of the company. You will be encouraged to do unethical things like lie to prospects and fudge contracts to get the deal. No ethical standards and horrible customer service to new and existing clients. You are told to just get the deal. Make sure they process two payroll so you can get your commission. You will have to prospect exclusively for your first year. You will be expected to get referrals from banks and CPAs who think you are scum. Be prepared to loose your self respect for payroll.

    Advice to Management

Spend more time doing quality trainning. More companies are moving towards employee retention and not hiring as many sales people as possible to compensate for those that will quit.
