I worked at ADP full-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

This is an amazing company if you want b2b or payroll industry experience! You can also make good money (if they actually want to pay you).

Cons

If you do "too well" they will hold your commission...with NO notice. The training is horrible and arcaic! I saw sooo much top talent either get fired for unknown and unwarned reasons or quit for greener pastures!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Value your people more and pay what your people are worth. Also, set the right expectations upon hire. Moreover, hire based on position; You don't need experience to sling PR and HR to sub 1000EE companies. ADP needs to realize that most of what is being sold is hyper tactical and strategic less than 25% of the time. Sales needs to be strategic but it's very difficult when the marketplace is all about cost and minimizing expense.
