Former Employee - Senior District Manager - SBS in Seattle, WA

I worked at ADP full-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

Strong training, immediate success opportunity (you don't need to be senior-level or experienced really at all to make money), consistent promotions and incentives, fun atmosphere and colleagues, weekly recogntion, strong product/branding/technology, fun trips if you do well

Cons

dealing with flakey small business owners, your manager doesn't sell so they sometimes micromanage you, you reach an income cieling cap even though commission is uncapped simply because there is not enough time in the day - is about 95k consistently

Advice to ManagementAdvice

focus on partnerships rather than cold calling

I worked at ADP as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

Very helpful and flexible with summer schedule. Allowed students to negotiate pay. Provided a intern leadership option. Did a very good job of integrating me into the company. Great training program.

    Cons

Not many, cubicle Dilbert based work and there wasn't as much work as expected. Still kept busy, but really didn't feel pressure to perform. Mentor occasionally completed my work before letting me figure it out or learn from it.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep up the great work. After speaking with the VP of technology development I felt confident that the company was going to try and keep pace with its competitors by recruiting top talent.
