Pros

Tuition reimbursement and support from management to better yourself was outstanding. My boss was also very flexible in regards to taking time off and dealing with important issues. We also had a huge network of other offices to interact with if necessary.

Cons

The corporate ADP culture seems old and outdated. It should become more fresh and lively to fit into today's mold of what makes an agile company. To get a pay raise, 17 actual people signed off on the paperwork. Maybe it is more streamlined today but I doubt it.

Advice to Management

Management should be required to have more education. Many leadership practices are the exact opposite of what most best practices would be. Overall, leadership was fine but they should learn how to better incentivize people.

    Pros

Flexible work environment- easy work with litte overview

    Cons

The lack of overview from management means that no one really cares if you do a good job or bad job. There is some sort of social hierarchy that is almost a class system that is in place and what ever "class" you come in as is where you will stay- no matter if you do a good job or bad job. The attorney that runs the legal department has no managerial skills and hides from problems in her office with the door shut.

    Advice to Management

Make sure people in supervisory roles actually know how to supervise- a Harvard degree does not qualify you to run a department or to create happy employees- or perhaps you really do not care if the employees are happy . . .

    Pros

great company to work for. plenty of room for growth, and good support. attainable quotas and good pay. good support from management

    Cons

payroll is not at the top of anyone's list of concerns, therefor appointments are tough to get. they push the ideal of having 5 a week, with the goal of closing two. it's feasible, but challenging. you have to have a short memory or you'll hate the job.

    Advice to Management

base territories more on the abilities of reps. if a rep has a higher quota and shows better results, give them more territory, rather than limiting their ability.
