ADT Security Services Core Commercial Sales Representative: (Current Employee)

Pros

Great opportunity to build a career. It does take hard work and dedication. Great product and great people. Career advancement opportunites are there for the right person.

Cons

If you are looking to take a sales job for the base salary than you should evaluate what type of sale job you are looking for. You make money on COMMISSION in sale and ADT is a great place to do it.

Advice to Senior Management

Base salaries are a little low based on industry standards. If they were a little higher we could attract more people and pull from other companies.

I absolutely disagree. You obviously do not work in resi sales. They send you hundreds of miles each day to run appointments they could not sell over the phone. Which manager are you sleeping with. Do you have a pic of Koch hanging up in your bedroom? You make the rest of us, who do not get a salary, sick.

Core Commercial is very different than small business and residential. Just look at the turn over rates. For resi and small business the turnover rate is astronomical, as in 90% within 6 months. Not so much for core... That being said core is an intermediate sales position and if you are qualified for this position you can probably do better.
