Pros
There are talented people trying to do their best. There is a wealth of experience in a number of the offices and, generally, a willingness to help.
Cons
Bottom line management. The dollar is more important than the client or the employees. With each HR change, the employees lose more benefits. Decision making is being pushed up the corporate ladder, disempowering those on the front line. Rules are followed to the letter, even if it's to the detriment of the system. Upper management will not discuss issues, resorting to spin and slick marketing.
Advice to Senior Management
Wake up and realize that the client-focused systems to made the original companies great was what attracted you to buy them in the first place. US-style, old school management techniques don't work -- they just drive away the good people.
