I have been working at AECOM full-time (more than 10 years)

Pros

Decent benefit, interesting projects and plenty of opportunities to work around the country as long as you know the upper management.

Cons

upper Management is a joke and not fair to some people. No one really care about your career growth unless your boss like you then you are golden.

Doesn't Recommend
Negative Outlook
No opinion of CEO

Too big, too political. Good projects, mostly good people.

I worked at AECOM full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Most of the people who work here are great people. The projects are interesting. There is enough variety to gain experience in several areas especially if you're willing to travel.

    Cons

You are just a number here. Layoffs are frequent and from my perspective made little sense. It is easy to get pigeonholed and pay is low. Promises of promotions are typically not kept. Platitudes are used to keep you going until the next unkept promise comes to light.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep promises to promote from within. Don't undervalue your good employees. They will eventually leave.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Positive Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
