Taken over by private firm, probably on its way to being sold again.

Pros

Decent compensation. Decent benefits. Survived the downfall of the automotive industry so far and will most likely be sold to a larger automotive supplier.

Cons

Job security is shaky. There is no team bonding like there use to be. People work independently and office environment has gone cold.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

There is nothing really to say to management since the company was bought without a definite plan and has been stripped down to make a buck. Now probably looking for next best buyer.

    I worked at AEES

    Pros

The company has come full circle and has returned to its roots. Its once again a company where anything is possible but will have to be known by a new name.

    Cons

The company was non core to the original parents business model. Cash generation kept AEES around until the business model eroded. Too many management transitions then eventual sale. Stripped of all the hopes and dreams until all that was left was core functions.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Embrace the recent change in ownership and hope to generate value for the new principal owner. It will be important for the new owners to know that they have invested wisely.
