I have been working at AHRC New York City as an intern

    Pros

The mission is very powerful and the work is meaningful. I've gained a lot of experience and gotten the chance to participate in some important interactions.

    Cons

Haven't come across any to this point, although getting started is a process - be prepared to wait to get cleared but don't forget to follow up. This isn't really the agency's fault so much as a result of all of the different oversight agencies they are under.
