Good stepping stone, but unreasonable expectations force most out

I have been working at AICPA full-time for more than a year

ProsThe customer service department genuinely strives to deliver a great experience to their customers and the compensation and benefits are above and beyond for a call center. Management strives to hire people who are resourceful, agreeable, and hard working. Management and colleagues are all fair and kind (no office drama here). Bonuses are offered in various different categories. There is a lot of promotion from within.

ConsTo deliver a positive experience, customer service reps are extremely micromanaged, and constantly scrutinized. Red tape and bureaucracy are thick in order to catch mistakes.

There is a back breaking obedience to service measurements.

I believe the biggest complaint is that it is extremely frustrating to work hard, deliver a great experience to customers, but be constantly criticized.

Finally, the knowledge an employee is responsible for being aware of, can at times feel crushing.

Advice to Senior ManagementThere has to be more leniency in the way customer service reps are held accountable.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Terrible management
