If you want people to have to sit there and listen to agents complain about the millions that they make, you may want to pay the reps more money.

    Pros

laid back atmosphere where no real work gets done ... a paid country club atmosphere for most !

    Cons

most everyone there is a contractor - low morale ...

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Most everyone in management were ineffective that had no idea of the main job tasks of their employees so my advice would be to get a grip and walk the talk !!!

I have been working at AIG full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Not too much unpaid overtime, generous PTO, decent retirement plan, nice cubicles and hardware/software is up to date

    Cons

Focuses on short term incentives, which means HR/managers will get bonuses based on saving on salaries for new hires, not performance or retention, how stupid and short-sighted can you get?
Salary has been frozen for a few years, even though the company is supposedly doing very much better in the past few years.
Did I mention the salary is very low?

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat the employees with respect and you'll get a lot better performance and retention, it will actually save you money on the long run.
