I have been working at AIG full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Benefits are some of the best in terms of health insurance options compared to other employers in the area.

    Cons

Call Center environment in which you will be required to sit at a desk for long periods of time. You are prescheduled in the computer system. If a customer call goes long into your break time, the schedule goes against you in terms of your numbers if you take a break outside of your scheduled break time. If you care about your rating, then you end up foregoing your break time. You could end up sitting at your desk most of the 8 hours. Your rating affects your schedule which changes every three months. If you do not have a good rating, you will work the poor shifts. Mandatory overtime occurs often, along with 20 minute lunches only. When this happens, your lunch is provided for by good restaurants in the area. If you are ok with practically never leaving your desk, then you will be fine in this position. Raises are slim. Pay is lower than average.

    Advice to Management
