Pros

The pay is ok, no overtime work, small firm mentality, no-nonsense boss/owner who is a fair guy in many respects, great place to start your engineering career. You are going to be given tough work from the get go.

Cons

theres nowhere to go once youre an engineer, youre either going to be doing the same thing for years or decades, or youre not going to work there at all. No professional growth whatsoever.

Advice to Senior Management

No particular advice needed. The way the firm is run works well for people who are looking for a job, not a career, and there are many people like that. I suppose the best advice is if you want to retain top notch talent, you should find ways for these employees to grow professionally.
