I have been working at AMC Entertainment part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    - Relaxed work environment, at least at my location
    - Flexible hours
    - Get paid without having to use brain

    Cons

    - Managers complain if you don't forcefeed membership cards down everyone's throat
    - Dealing with public
    - I hear some locations actually have lots of guests to deal with; I lucked out

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Consider allowing some aspects of a fixed schedule so that people don't have to choose between either 1) getting completely different random schedules each week, throwing them out of their rhythm, or 2) putting in a really narrow availability so that they know when they'll be scheduled but screw over any other employees who want a certain time off... "oh sorry, no one else says they're available."
