I have been working at AMD full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Work from home is the only best thing

    Cons

Poor management, the managers micro manage the staff and set unrealistic goals. AMD revenues dropping despite having good products but due to not proper marketing and people management. The Senior manager is self-centred and act like superhero to save the day. The managers and team lead never treat the staff politely and guide properly. Staff turnover very high from all department. The HR department not co-operative and never provide proper guideline. Very strong office politic in AMD Cyberjaya. Too much cost cutting.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

AMD must change its policy and management style. Hire better Senior manager who has people management skill and replace current Senior Manager who has no management skill. Listen to the staff not the managers or team leads to get accurate information.
