Great company to work for.

Mechanical Designer (Current Employee)
Minneapolis, MN

ProsExcellent work/life balance. Positive & Negative feedback is HIGHLY encouraged. Employees track hours spent on projects as they are billable to the client, so anything over 40/week goes toward vacation. 9/80 program (optional) allows employees, over a two week period, to work 9 of 10 days, still totaling 80 hours total, taking every other friday off! However, this is a luxury, so if the project(s) need you, you're in for overtime. Very competitive salary. Training is available for specialized engineering software. Friendly work environment. Very forward thinking company. Observant of employees needs. Company is proud of their Safety record.

ConsMany engineering disciplines utilize a specialized piece of software which has a heavy learning curve. Quality of work from other offices can occationally fall short of Minneapolis's standards.

Advice to Senior ManagementKeep promoting the employee feedback from team leaders & management. Thank you for offering the 9/80 program. Keep up the good work.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
