I worked at AOL full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Yes, AOL still exists. Even better, it has highly motivated, intelligent, technical people using cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to drive the company forward.

    Cons

The company's strategy is muddy and difficult to explain, and there is a constant threat of downsizing. This contributes to stress and morale problems.
