    Pros

Great work life balance. The company rewards employees who make an impact.

    Cons

Some internal politics. Some teams have to many directors and not enough people doing work.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Some of the people who have been with AOL for 10+ years are cruising. Need to get some great developers.

I have been working at AOL as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

Respect, responsibilities, camaraderie. The work was rewarding.

    Cons

Working hard doesn't guarantee you a job. Management in departments you aren't working in don't try to understand what you do on a daily basis, making it harder to seem worthy in the eyes of others.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Spend more time getting to know everyone's responsibilities.
