I have been working at AOL full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Loved working for the company in its hay day (actually got there towards the end of the hay day.) Enjoyed a few good years of growth and exciting development. The people were great and the work / life balance was very fair.

    Cons

After the merger with Time Warner there was a real lack of direction. CEOs seemed to change like the seasons. This trickled down through the ranks as there was no real guidance as to where we were going or what we wanted to be. This led to a lot of frustration.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pick a plan, develop, and stick to it.
