Pros

My team has always been very helpful in my growth as an engineer and I am given very challenging and exciting projects.

Cons

Layoffs happen pretty frequently during my years as an engineer.

Advice to Senior Management

Find a way to juggle resources instead of laying them off. There is much talent and knowledge collected in every AOL employee, these are resources that could be recycled throughout other parts of the organization. I just wish that AOL provided a better way to move people around rather than just lay them off.
