I worked at APAC Customer Services full-time (less than a year)

Pros

Under my first supervisor, the atmosphere was very casual and fun.

Cons

Extremely unorganized supervisors, lack of supervision was the only thing that was consistent. I was accused of falsifying my time record with flimsy "proof." Has a "hire to fire" reputation in the city. The state ruled in my favor for the wrongful termination, granting me unemployment benefits; however, APAC chose to fight the state's decision and I am still tangled up in getting my professional record clear of any blemish.

    I have been working at APAC Customer Services (less than a year)

    Pros

    -Can sit or stand, desk moves
    -Decent starting salary (in tampa anyway)
    -Flexible with c/o; attendance (again, if your a favorite)

    Cons

    -If your not a favorite, don't expect to last long
    -Management can be a hard ass sometimes
    -High call volume
    -Usually (60%) of the time, you cannot help the customer

    Pros

    Competitive pay (all levels)
    Flexibility of hours

    Cons

    poor (and I mean very POOR) management by site manager and operations managers
    very unhelpful managers, leads, coaches, etc.
    questionable payroll practices
    extremely negative and demeaning place to work much of the time
    firm values are never put into practice or even discussed
    regularly creates incentive plans and fails to deliver on the incentive after performance

    Take a vested interest in your sites
