Pros

Huge company, large number of opportunities

Cons

regardless of efforts and profitability at lower levels, no visibility to decision from the top

Advice to Management

If cutbacks required, keep folks taht are producing, not folks that have been around longer for time's sake.

    Pros

The people you work with are fantastic. Some of my lifelong friends have been made by working in different ARAMARK groups.

    Cons

The company has multiple business units that are managed and act as if each is its own silo. It is hard to break down these barriers.

    Advice to Management

I would recommend that the walls that have formed around each line of business be broken down in order that the teams communicate the best practices with one another.

    Pros

Aramark is a wonderful place to work and I would recommend that you get to know the managers because they are the ones doing the promotions and they may get promoted and want to recommend you for a promotion as well.

    Cons

Aramark does require you to learn on your own a lot. There is a bit of a learning curve and many people that do not get past that end up not going very far. You really just have to gauge who to talk to and follow your managers and not be forced into doing wrong by your peers.
