Pros

Regular work week, most holidays off, most of the clients we serve are great, some of our co-workers really care about what they do

Cons

have forgotten that quality, clients, and employees are important. It's all about making money for corporate, who cares if everyone in the process is unhappy

Advice to Management

Remember what is important. wHEN THE ECONOMY FINALLY TURNS AROUND EXPECT TO LOSE ALOT OF YOUR CURRENT CUSTOMERS AND EMPLOYEES THAT CARE

    Pros

In general, a decent company to work for. Financially healthy. Promotions or lateral movement available. Large organization with diversified lines of business.

    Cons

With the new President, things are changing. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a clear vision. Recent layoffs make sense because there were redundencies. But, how the layoffs were conducted is indicative of the demise of the people-centered culture.

    Advice to Management

As much as change can be good, it does seem as if you are chasing your tails and do not have a clear mission, vision or values.

  2. Helpful (1)

Good people undermined by corporate bureaucracy.

    Pros

Tons of nice people working there. Salary was ok. Benefits were good.

    Cons

Too many VPs with conflicting agendas. Can't figure out a solid sales / account management strategy. Sales commission targets were unlikely to ever be met due to lack of clarity around accout owners. Lots of turnover.

    Advice to Management

Separate the sales / account management roles and responsibilities.
