Current Employee - Clinical Dietitian in Fayetteville, NC

I have been working at ARAMARK full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Aramark's career ladder allows dietitian to earn more money while remaining clinical, instead of advancing to a managerial position as many other companies require.

    Cons

The pay is low. The career ladder allows a salary increase for clinical dietitians who have either a master's degree OR a specialty certification. However, when a dietitian has worked hard and has both, there is no pay increase.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Add additional steps to your career ladder.

Former Employee - Sales Representative in Dayton, OH

I worked at ARAMARK full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

No Pros. Very dishonest about the position and hours. They were dishonest with customers. If I had a business, I would go with Cintas.

    Cons

Atmosphere was not great. A lot of swearing, non professional people. Training for the sales route position was terrible. Lied about the pay, hours, and showing me how they would shake out dirty mats, and give them back to the customer. Drivers called it Shake & Bake. Could not work for a company that was dishonest.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Back up what you say. Tell an employee that you will help them on the route, and never communicate. Get on the drivers about hurrying and getting the job done and do not communicate with the customers. Customers are the reason you guys have a job. Very disappointing operation.
