    Pros

I was left alone by management, which was good on shift, as a manager you are not suppose to work the line or cash register because of union contract employees are given first dibs on extra hours. You only have to supervise your shift. Seasonal job, so you get all breaks off with paid unemployment, that or you can work if its needed.

    Cons

Management doesn't pay attention to your background, and can sometimes forget you. I have a master's degree and was not considered for a promotion and lost out to someone with no education and the same amount of supervisory experience, he was a cross over union employee for one year prior. For such a big company, the benefits are brutal. I don't carry their insurance as it is way to expensive every week. They also get government aid because they hire people with criminal backgrounds, so you never know what your getting if you try to discipline an employee.

    Advice to Management

Pay attention to your supervisors and try to develop them more. Just using my example, I have a master's degree and was regulated to just supervising, was not given much room to place orders, administer write-ups or do anything that could help me get moved up. Also you guys could do much better as far as benefits go.
