Pros

Benefits and the fact that it is and 11 billion dollar corp. My check will never bounce and i work in food service and people have to eat ! So that is job security !!

Cons

None that i can think of ?? The only thing negative thing that i can think of is that they are always coming up new policies and by the time you start one, then its like a month later , it rolls down that we are not doing that anymore and now we are doing this. So its kinda a waste of my time to train my employees and in a month i have to re-train them on the new way. It gets old !!

Advice to Management

Keep up the good work !!! Once you get in the door, the sky is the limit. Show interest and they will point you in the right direction .

    Pros

Great place to work for a work/life balance...however the salary ranges are not the most competitive. You have to negotiate your own salary or they will low ball you.

    Cons

Have to relocate for just about any kind of promotion...not very good in all cases. Spend time to inspect and evaluate the company and the job before you decide to join. It can be a very good job if it is what you are looking to do. The company used to spend a lot more money on the employees, but these are hard times...

    Advice to Management

Please find more ways to thank the FLM's and FTE's for all they do. We used to do regional meetings....

    Pros

Quality of Life. Coming from restaurants and crazy, ever changing shift schedules, I now work Monday through Friday. I have the ability to leave if something comes up and family is first throughout Aramark. I started Aramark with 26 paid days off per year (10 holidays, 6 personal days, 10 vacation days) and left a major chain restaurant after 10 years with 15 paid vacation days off per year...

    Cons

It's still the food serive industry and many times you have to get in the trenches and cook, restock items, run catering orders and so on. That's with any small business though...

    Advice to Management

Not all corporate policies and programs apply to every account. Many of them are productivity killers and do not add value to every account.
