Former Employee – worked at ARINC
Pros – Hangar is a state of the art facility. The comraderie of the lower level employees is outstanding. Oklahoma City is a great location.
Cons – Extremely limited opportunities for promotion. Promotions are not based on merit, they are based strictly off of popularity. Mid Level management aren't interested in their employees' ideas. Communication is almost unheard of. Very disorganized. No continuity throughought company, certain employees are given the benefit of the doubt when policies or procedures are broken where as others are repremanded for it. No notice of overtime even when it is planned by managers days in advance.
Advice to Senior Management – Listen to the employees that are doing the majority of the technical work, as they are the ones that make your business. As a company that is trying to grow within the aviation defense contract industry; you need to grow out of the "small time" way of thinking. Get control of/get rid of your managers that are completely incompetent or risk losing your government contracts that makes up the majority of your annual revenue.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
