Current Employee – been working at ARRIS full-time for more than 7 years

Pros – The compensation was good well within industry standards.
Company is very understanding of work/life balance. A lot of very smart people in the Beaverton office.
Layoffs were avoided whenever possible.
The company would look to promote from within when a qualified internal candidate was found.

Cons – They are strictly suppliers to the cable TV industry so as the needs of the cable companies surge and wane they are vulnerable to the ups and downs of this one industry.

Advice to Senior Management – Expand the business by selling to telcos like Verizon.
