ASDA – “Pays the bills, but after that...nothing special”

Pros

The colleagues...great bunch of people. Majority of people genuinly get on, and i've met some great friends there. We have a laugh, sometimes at the customers expense, go out etc. Very social place to work

Cons

The managers are fussy and overly interfering. They tend to wander around looking self important, complain when nothing gets done, whilst not actually doing anything to make sure colleagues have what they need to get things done.

Pay could be better

Advice to Senior Management

Instead of hiring those people who think might best intimidate or annoy people into doing as they're told, hire some managers with actual leadership or people skills. I find people work best when they're actually doing their job, not explaining to the boss what they'd be doing right that minute if the boss hadn't interrupted them
