AT&T Mobility – “Good pay and benefits at a price

Nov 7, 2009

1.0

AT&T Mobility Retail Sales Consultant in Charlotte, NC:   (Past Employee - 2009)

Pros

Good pay- salary + Commission
Generous Benefit package

Cons

Sales quota is unrealistic. Store was over staffed creating a very competitive atmosphere making it very difficult to obtain your goals. Very clicky environment when it comes to promotions and rewards. Management was easy to get along with and likable but not really involved. Management was only concerned with overall store goals and their paychecks instead of helping individuals obtain their goals. Your days off are picked by a software program that if your manager does not manipulate will give you a frustrating off balance work week.

Advice to Senior Management

Try getting involved with your employees one on one and your paycheck will be there! Managers need to be on the floor monitoring whats going on. We are in the middle of a recession.... How about adjusting quotas accordingly. You all claim to care about people but it is just a numbers game to you.....
