I have been working at AT&T

Pros

With such a large company, you have tons of opportunity. The people make the company and I have met some of the best people.

Cons

The performers will rise to the top and get the most opportunities while those who are clearly not cutting it are allowed to get away with it.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Slow down and take a look at it from the perspective of your direct reports. You'll learn ALOT and your directs will respect you more. End result, you'll be grounded and your directs will respect you more.

    Pros

You learn a lot here. You learn great fundamentals, and working at an ISP can be an excellent first job.

    Cons

No benefits, majority of employees are contractors, many colleagues will be let go, low morale. You cannot miss more than a few days otherwise you will be fired.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Offer better benefits, pay, and work environment. For such a large company, better treatment should be given to their employees.

    Pros

    Great Benefits
The Union Will Support you 100%
good pay with raises every 6 months

    Cons

Customer Service mixed with Sales. Customers will call in for something and then you have to try to sell them Uverse
    Management is against the employees

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If you want Sales then you need to make a Center just Strictly Sales Center not Customer Service and Sales. I feel that the turn around rate would change drastically. I also think you really need to have management all on the same page and not against the employees including the Call Center Manager. I feel it is no way to run a business
