Pros

Here are some of the best reasons to work for att is the benefits, the rate of pay, and vacation time.

Cons

Too much micro managing going on and the union is not the strongest but, i guess its should get better over time.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

There are some hard working employees at ATT, but some of the managers treat them like crap. So I would tell them to lighten up

    I worked at AT&T

    Pros

Big company with access to cutting edge equipment and first to market with new phones

    Cons

Did not care about the employees. People are just numbers, not much respect for the hard work the employees did for the company. No money put into the building, which is the employees home away from home.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat employees like you treat customers and stock holders. People are mot assets that can be used and then disguarded.

    I worked at AT&T

    Pros

    Benefits package
    Co-workers
    Ease of transferring

    Cons

    Unrealistic Goals
    Compensation decrease
    Work harder less pay
    No balance of work/life
Hours 10-11 hour days no weekends off
    Upper management
Disregard of employees capabilities unless they are number one in sales.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Just because someone doesn't make it to number 1 in sales every month doesn't mean they don't have what it takes to success in another position. The best managers aren't always the best sellers. You have to have certain skills to be a successful manager and it should always be base on numbers. Be more personable with your team, be there to support them and guide them in the right direction. POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT.. negative reinforcement doesn't do any good. The breaks the morale of the team.
