Pros

Plenty of opportunity to run "your own business" and to work with nearly every product or service that AT&T has to offer.

Cons

In the role of Business Account Manager you could hold nobody accountable for doing anything. Number one problem associated with an "overlay" role at AT&T.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

stop fighting over who controls what and help your people get out in front of customers and less time "living in a 30 day world". 30 days is really just two weeks, in AT&T time.

    Great benefits includes 401K, tuition, PTO

    Cons

    Little or no advancement..it's hard to move up unless you know someone and are friend with that person. Stress level is increasing due to more expectations, higher quota with less pay, more time works and no advancement and no recognition

    Create more advancement based on the skills and knowledge instead of hire someone that you are friends with.

    I have been working at AT&T full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

    Good pay, okay benefits, and try to find placement for surplussed employees.

    Cons

    Micro-managed, benefits on a decline, use a ridiculous system that here you in trouble for accomplishing to much work on a daily basis, and treatment of employees is definitely declining as well. Was surplussed 2 times in one year.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Stop using MSOC! I used to get twice as much done before it was forcefully upon us. It's a horrible system and accomplishes nothing but upsetting employees.
