Pros

Many good opportunities across multiple functions.
Good trainings
Good reputation as a fortune 500 firm.
Well defined roles and clear career path.

Cons

Sometimes too cost controlled.
Office politics could be annoying.
Promotions can be slow in a big organization.
Needs to be mobile in order to move up.

Try to build a leaner and flatter structure for a giant company.

    I worked at AT&T full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Decent hourly pay, great holiday pay, good overtime pay, good benefits

    Cons

    No work/life balance whatsoever, never set schedule or even set hours, management has no authority on decisions made in their own stores, and anytime you breathe it creates an HR nightmare

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Let your retail managers manage their own stores, stay in your corporate offices and don't bother the people on the front lines who are actually making the money for you
