Current Employee - Senior Project Manager  in  San Francisco, CA
Current Employee - Senior Project Manager in San Francisco, CA

Pros

Stable enough, layoffs happen, but mostly yo contractors.

Cons

Team located all over the country, it's nice except you can work for/with someone for years and have no clue what they look like.

    Pros

“Good benefits. Okay employee discounts. Attempt for a work-life balance, though it's better in theory than reality.”

    Cons

Atlanta market is EXTREMELY "good ol' boy" systems. It is all about who you know. Micromanagement is micromanged horrible. The managers run employees like robots if your not on the top of the list. It's very "who you know" and the best candidate might not necessarily get chosen.

Former Employee - Splicing Technician in Reno, NV

    Pros

Job security as funny as it may sound. If you are in the right job at the right location, you're set.

    Cons

Constant never ending barrage of crap from upper managers who have no experience and insist on micro-managing to the most extreme level. The local managers have all just given up or given in, it is a downright shame what the current corporate raiders have done.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get out of the every day operations and let the local managers do more of what they were hired for in the first place. When a local "field" manager has to call you and tell you he is writing down a quality check on you for yesterday and today in case anyone asks, there is a big problem.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
