Like working for the government. Many bosses who do nothing.

I have been working at AT&T full-time for more than a year

Pros

Outstanding benefits, health and whole package.

Cons

The company is very disorganized and it takes forever to get anything done. You spend more time trying to fix errors to help customers than actually selling. Very frustrating!

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Walk the talk. Set up the example. Show enthusiasm!

I worked at AT&T full-time for less than a year

    Pros

I was in a 7 week training program and learned enough to start my own business.

    Cons

It was so bad, they sold the division I was in and are not in that biz.

I was hired with a small group to start an interactive sales group from the print Yellow Pages division. We were forced to join the union as sales reps. Management were lifers at AT&T who were idiots. I had three sales managers in 6 months. The last one had no sales experience.

They treated everyone like they were 20 years old and talked down to you.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Sell the division (oops you already did that).
