Mostly postive regarding coworkers, equipment and training. Regular mandatory overtime for outside forces is excessive.

Pros

Good support for both outside and inside forces. Benefits and retirement plans are available. Providing a vital service to the community is very rewarding.

Cons

Management is numbers driven, so out of the box thinking is discouraged. Lip service is given to safety and service, the real priority is the shareholders.

Advice to Management

Care as much for your employees and you do for your shareholders.

    Pros

Great leadership and mentorship experience, relaxed atmosphere. Good benefits/perks.
Has a program for hiring military vets.
Good exit opportunities, if it ever comes to that.

    Cons

As the phone company, they are very tight with security. Many strict access protocols, network verification procedures, etc. Not really a con, but something to consider.
Their HR process is inefficient, like many large companies.
Also could benefit from more diversity (age, background, etc.). But they are trying to improve this.

    Advice to Management

AT&T Corporate could probably benefit from hiring more entry level employees for their technical contributions.

    Pros

Friendly people, who take time to answer any questions
    Small environment
Got to listen to personal music while working

    Cons

Repetitive tasks (can be tiring after a while)
No sign outside building for identification

    Advice to Management

Not much room for improvement; I was very satisfied with how things were run, niceness of location/work setting, etc.
