Trade quality of life for good pay/benefits

Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) Dayton, OH

ProsGood pay and great benefits.

ConsCall center is unionized by the CWA which limits creativity within the staff. This is created an atmosphere where time on the job means more than actual performance.

    Tumultuous

Customer Service Representative I (Former Employee) Baton Rouge, LA

I worked at AT&T full-time for more than 5 years

Pros: Good pay, GREAT benefits (when you could use them), co-workers… Cons: Unorganized, cut-throat, rigid rules, zero consideration for employees' lives outside of AT&T… Advice to Senior Management: Communicate! Be consistent! Show you care! Rethink possible! No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company… More

Pros: Great entry level pay, lots of potential to move up… Cons: Retail hours and rigid schedule (because it's a UNION position.) Being on the bottom of a corporate totem… Advice to Senior Management: Empower the team on the floor to make real changes… Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company… More
