    I worked at AT&T full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The pay check and the benefits....THAT IS IT!!! There is absolutely not a single other redeeming quality about this company!

    Cons

When they were Bellsouth, they care a little bit more about their employees but as soon as they became AT&T...watch out...you were dead meat! This is a company that is trying to push a product that is dying (home phone service) and that no one wants or needs anymore and instead of coming up with GOOD innovative products (NOT U-VERSE), they figured that instead of doing that, they would turn a profit by firing everyone that was vested and making more then $20 per hour and replace them with contract employees with no benefits making $12 per hour and constantly threatening them that they could be fired at any time with no union support. These people go as far as to tell you that you have to offer EVERY single product the customer is available for on EVERY single call. Meaning, if you called last month and removed every service off your phone line, the rep that gets you this month is REQUIRED to now offer all those useless services to you again.

    Advice to Management

A good way to turn a profit is to stop firing people you spend thousand on to hire! Having employees work 11 hr shifts/6 days a week does not promote a good atmosphere! Also, if you have less turnover, you have less unemployment claims and that ALSO brings your profits up. Concentrate on better products to offer and not have your employees try to scam a sell phone on a little old lady from East Little Havana or shove a BVM down the throat of everyone that doesn't have one.

I have been working at AT&T part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good pay & my co-workers were just about the only thing that kept me there for as long as I was there fore.

    Cons

Management was HORRIFIC, after being verbally harassed daily, HR and my union rep weren't any help either.
