I have been working at AT&T for more than 5 years

    Pros

The people here are great! I am constantly challenged to learn more in my current job and have many opportunities to develop news skills. The company also challenges us to innovate, learn and grow. If you thrive in an environment that is constantly changing then this is a great place to be.

    Cons

Work is extremely busy many groups are pretty lean so work could maybe be distributed in other ways or hire more staff.

Good entry-level sales opportunity....just don't expect to make it a career

I worked at AT&T full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Benefits and compensation are really the only reason why I would recommend working for at&t. 401K, pension, tuition reimbursement, health insurance, and paid time off were all exemplary for such a low-level position.

    Cons

Do not expect to be promoted into a non-retail sales channel position. The company has a very short-sighted view of customers; pushing to increase revenue per customer as opposed to retaining the customers that we currently had. Also expect to be measured on every possible metric as management keep subordinates under a microscope.

    Disapproves of CEO
