Pros

Good benefits. Cutting edge products and services. Size and Scale. Innovating in many key areas that only a very large company could.

Cons

Legacy of "dead" business collecting. Utility management mindset. Club mentality in the leadership. Results are not rewarded. Making the boss feel good is more important than the return on investment.

Advice to Management

Stop promoting the legacy telco leaders. Share the strategy in real terms to the general management team. Make some decisions and stick with them.

    Pros

Working on goals that you can achieve. Getting recognition. Paid vacation. IF you have a BA , no kids and no other job prospects join the college managers program. 6 months of intensive training.

    Cons

Upper management loves to MICRO manage ineffectively. Forced Blackout days. Wasteful and uneventful ARSM and DOS meeting. Useless town Hall meetings. Ego stroking favorite employees. Certain NYC and Brooklyn ARSMs are scandalous. They spread the lies the DOS feeds them. The CEO doesn't know any thing because he never gets a wiff of he bad smell from NYC.

    Advice to Management

    Stop sucking.
