Pros

The company gives you the leisure of making money for the company and yourself. The time flexibility gives you the leisure to handle not only your personal business but work business as well.

Cons

AT&T doesn't give great focus on employee development at times on an immediate level. The environment is a know by know basis.

Advice to Management

Focus on the little people

    Pros

The benefits provided are ok. You get a modest discount off certain services and you get name recognition with the company name.

    Cons

It is just too big of a company. You become a grain of sand on a beach working here after several mergers.

    Advice to Management

Improve the work/life balance. Senior management should follow through on suggestions employees put forth.

    Pros

Great benefits + Pension! Great starting pay for bargained employees ($13 to $14.70/hr for CSRs. The Receivables Management group is top knotch!

    Cons

Poor hiring practices have given Orlando Customer Care a nasty reputation throughout the ATT Organization. If you are hired there you will virtually never be considered for any positions outside of that unit. Not just in that building, but anywhere in the U.S. Even if another unit wants you, the local management will block your promotion. This behavior has been going on for over 4 years and the departments reputation precedes it.
The vast number of agents and managers are on FMLA or disability to circumvent the strict attendance policy. Yet, those individuals fair better during the annual salary raises.

    Advice to Management

Clean out the legacy blue managers and representatives or just surplus the whole unit. Your employees and customers deserve better.
