Opportunities to help telecom company turn into tech, but ultimately still too slow

Senior Marketing Manager (Current Employee)
Palo Alto, CA

ProsAT&T is actively working to implement open technologies and become more of a tech company and less of a telecomm. There are amazing opportunities to have your work have a massive effect

ConsIt's still AT&T, and it is still a HUGE battleship that moves slow. If you're looking to get in and make big changes right away, look elsewhere. The most frustrating thing is when you can successfully make lasting change in your group and that change is negated by your own management up the line or parallel groups

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
