Current Employee - Senior Marketing Manager in Palo Alto, CA

I have been working at AT&T full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

AT&T is actively working to implement open technologies and become more of a tech company and less of a telecomm. There are amazing opportunities to have your work have a massive effect

    Cons

It's still AT&T, and it is still a HUGE battleship that moves slow. If you're looking to get in and make big changes right away, look elsewhere. The most frustrating thing is when you can successfully make lasting change in your group and that change is negated by your own management up the line or parallel groups

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Flatter org - especially at the top.

    Recommends
    Positive Outlook
    Approves of CEO
