Current Employee - Lead Member of the Technical Staff in Middletown, NJ

I have been working at AT&T full-time (more than 5 years)

Pros

I have greater control over my areas of work than I have ever had in any previous position. Most of my current projects are self-motivated.

Cons

Being in a large company makes it difficult to develop close relationships with peers who may be located far away. Every day I work with people in Washington, California, Texas, Atlanta and New Jersey and frequently with people in other locations.

    Pros

Good environment to work in. Management provides ample opportunity for career growth and taking ownership. Flexibility in work hours and schedule.

I have been working at AT&T full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

It can be a great and interesting career. It all depends on what you want to make of your job.

    Cons

Company management loyalty to employees is sporadic. They outsource in parts of AT&T with no thought to moving the outsourced employees to other parts of the company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Work harder to help the employees you are giving a 60 day notice. It hurts everyone's morale.
