Positive Outlook

I worked at AT&T full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Potential to make a decent living.

Cons

Absolutely no work/life balance. Comp plan changes require you to sell more, but get paid less money, but senior management will try to spin it to make it sound like its a positive change. Teird comp plan structure makes it nearly impossible to accelerate in their compensation plans.

Advice to Management

Stop micromanaging.

Large behemoth of a company - felt like I was working for the government! Good if looking for a relatively "stable" firm

    I worked at AT&T full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

401k plan, paid vacations, health care, free phone service, Working with technology

    Cons

Your goals are always changing, Scheduling software has always been bad, Customer feed back system is way to strict, The company as a whole has a high turn over rate with its retail division.

    Advice to Management

Sorry you lost a lot of money on the t-mobile merger, But you don't need to take it out on your employees.
