I have been working at AT&T full-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

Large, lots of opportunities, not going anywhere, good work life balance, good benefits

Cons

Culture largely dependent on business unit. some are much more innovative/relaxed/young/fast moving/etc than others. pay not competitive with MBA pay in banking or consulting. most opportunities are clustered in Dallas or Atlanta

Advice to ManagementAdvice

allow more flexibility in terms of telecommuting - not everyone wants to work in Dallas.

    Pros

    Cons

Constantly changing company ideas and goals as well as the company feeling that a sales rep can control a customers "Willingness to Recommend" AT&T when in many cases people that don't do so because of network issues out of control of a sales rep.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to reps ideas more often that not.
